Scope. This notice governs all electronic communications sent by or on behalf of Alberto Fresno Cabal, including emails, attachments and linked documents.
1. Confidentiality & Legal Privilege
Emails and attachments are intended solely for the named recipient and may contain confidential, privileged or otherwise protected information. Unauthorised disclosure, copying or use is prohibited and may be unlawful. If you have received an email in error, please notify the sender immediately and permanently delete it and all attachments. Alberto Fresno Cabal acts as an Independent Chartered Surveyor and Expert Witness, regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (CICES). Advice or opinions are provided in accordance with professional standards and within the scope of formal instructions. No duty of care is accepted to any person other than the named client or instructing party unless expressly agreed in writing.

Reasonable measures are taken to preserve the accuracy and integrity of electronic communications; however, no responsibility is accepted for loss or damage arising from use, reliance or misinterpretation of contents, for corruption or unauthorised modification during transmission, or for the presence of viruses or other harmful code. Recipients are responsible for appropriate security checks. Nothing in this notice limits or excludes liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.
4. Formation of Contract
Email correspondence shall not constitute a binding contract or agreement unless expressly confirmed in writing. Instructions, variations or commitments are valid only once acknowledged and accepted in formal written terms.

6. Expert Witness Communications
Where communications relate to expert witness instructions or reports, opinions are provided in accordance with Civil Procedure Rules Part 35, relevant Practice Directions, and duties to the Court. Unauthorised editing or selective quotation of such material may constitute contempt of court or breach of copyright.
7. Intellectual Property
All content within communications and attached materials remains the intellectual property of Alberto Fresno Cabal unless otherwise stated. Reproduction, publication or distribution requires prior written consent.
8. Environmental Responsibility
Please consider the environment before printing emails or attachments. Digital records are maintained securely and in line with professional retention standards.
9. Governing Law
This notice and any dispute arising from electronic communications shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
